The little girl came to me

Said sir my kitty's up in that tree

I got my ladder

And I got it down

Now her kitty's running all over town

Out in the yard and she lost her cat, Drac

She wants to know where her kitty cats at

The teenaged girl came to me

Said sir my friend's up in that tree

I got my ladder

And I talked him down

Now her friend's running all over town

Out in the yard and she lost her friend, Jack

She wants to know where her friend's at

The worried mother came to me

Said sir my daughter's up in that tree

I got my ladder

And I helped her down

Now her daughter's running all over town

Out in the yard and she lost her daughter, Daph

She wants to know where her daughter's at

The old woman came to me

Said sir my minds up in that tree

I got my ladder

And when I got it down

Her mind went running all over town

Out in the yard and she lost her mind, Mack

She wants to know where her mind's at

The town folk all came you see

Said here lies the man that climbed that tree

Where is his ladder

Got him up and down

He's not been running all over town

Out in the yard and we found the man, fact

The tree does grow where his graves at
