I've got to fly,

you know I can't stay

I like the night,

and you like the day.

Leaving here soon,

to have some fun

I like the moon,

and you like the sun.

I spend my nights a huntin'

You count the days,

but please don't wait

It'd be better if you were runnin,'

me through with a stake.

You know that I bite,

my fangs are sharp

You like the light,

and I like the dark.

You know that I'm old

I know that you're not

I like the cold,

and you like the hot.

I spend my nights a huntin'

You count the days,

but please don't wait

It'd be better if you were runnin,'

me through with a stake.
