Up on a mountain, or down in the valley,

or up in a penthouse, just down the alley,

as you're standing there tall, here down below;

we have all of our needs just like you don't you know.

~

You've got what it takes, you've got money,

while we work to supply your milk and honey,

as you're standing there tall, here down below;

we have all of our needs just like you don't you know.

~

Hoarding nickles and dimes just to spend our penny,

We ain't like you Bud, cause we ain't got any.

If it weren't for us, you wouldn't be you,

and if we weren't here, just what would you do.

~

Just some hand me downs and pass me arounds,

refiltered water, tobacco and used coffee grounds,

as you're standing there tall, here down below;

we have all of our needs just like you don't you know.

~

We work hard here so you can live easy and rule,

but don't think for a minute we're anyone's fool,

as you're standing there tall, here down below;

we have all of our needs just like you don't you know.

~

Hoarding nickels and dimes just to spend our penny,

We ain't like you Bud, cause we ain't got any.

If it weren't for us you wouldn't be you,

so if we weren't here, just what would you do.
