See the Lollipops and Lemon Drops,

the Bubble Gums and Candy Canes,

all standing around in the Soda Shop,

cause outside it's pouring down rain.

Then he screams and she screams,

you could hear all our screams,

when lightening struck the Ice Cream truck,

and took away all our dreams.

While it flows down the street,

we say goodbye to our tasty treat,

as rain washes it down the drain,

here right under all our feet.

Just a dream, it wasn't real,

no milk spilled, none to steal,

cinnamon and honey butter on toasted bread,

another yarn from the spinning wheel.
