What happened to the good old days
when we all went outside and played
Talked to the girl across the road
scared her with a snake or tossed her a toad
She's on Facebook I know she is
I never knew life would be like this
Indoors more than we are out
The sun won't shine and the moon does pout
Who am I or you to say
what the weather's been like all day
A lonely plane flies over town
they don't see no one around
cause every ones hooked up you see
to some little old p.c.
Game that is, what day is this
where's the wife, and where's the kids.
Rush in from work and sit right down
push a button and grin and frown
A storm went and knocked out the web
nothing to do so I'll go to bed
What's on tv I don't know
do they still have tv shows
Yeah what happened to the good old days

Don't talk to the girl across the road
she shot my snake and killed my toad
She's on Facebook I know she is
I never knew life would be like this
That's what this world is coming to
when you don't see me
and I don't see you
I'll send an e-mail and hope you read it
Dang screen went blank, ah who gives a ….
