She told me once, that her love was true

But she ran away, just to be with you

And now you say, that she's gone today

Did we deserve that kind of love.

She's destroyed the town

That heartbreaking girl

She's just running around

Wreaking another man's world.

She left me in her cloud of dust

And you say you want to die

My tears have turned to rust

We were hooked by a lie.

She's destroyed the town

That heartbreaking girl

She's just running around

Wreaking another man's world.

She told me once, that her love was true

But she ran away, just to be with you

And now you say, that she's gone today

Did we deserve that kind of love.
