Don't trust someone that says to trust me,

at least not right off the bat.

Ask someone else that knows them very well,

if they shoot straight or are they full of crap.

If they yell there's a fire, look out the window,

and check it out for your self.

It could be the fire deep within them,

trying to put you on their shelf.

Trust me has lead to many problems,

Adam can tell you about Eve.

Bathsheba can tell you about David,

and Samson about being decieved.

Somewhere between good and evil,

someone has to draw a fine line.

Trust me may get you out of trouble,

but use a little common sense this time.

All throughout the word of God or Good Book,

men and women just want to be loved.

Trust was given to each freely,

but self was all they were thinking of.

Just ask someone else that knows them well,

if they shoot straight or are they full of crap.

Do you have a curve ball to throw them,

when it's their turn to bat.

Trust me has lead to many problems,

Adam can tell you about Eve.

Bathsheba can tell you about David,

and Samson about being decieved.

Somewhere between good and evil,

someone has to draw a fine line.

Trust me may get you out of trouble,

but use a little common sense this time.
