We've Got All The Time

Hey Mr. Death don't come and take my breath

I need it back so I can tell my girl

We're going to get married and move out west

We've got all the time in the world.

We've got all the time in the world

but how much time does the world have

Tick tock down like a whirl pool swirl

Can you tell us by the watches that our grandads had.

Can you tell us by the watches that our grandads had

for they were passed down to us through their grandads

Now they all lay beneath the green green grass

Is there enough time for us, or should we let it pass.

Is there enough time for us, or should we let it pass

For the fun love and laughter, or should we ask

Do we need to hang our heads and pray

that the world has enough time for just one more day.

That the world has enough time for just one more day

So the children of our children can go out and play

then come visit us while we're resting in our graves

for we never know what will come and take us away.

For we never know what will come and take us away

and our time is getting shorter, so come what may

Wild winds and wrecks while walking down a street

with no shelter or clothing and very little food to eat.

Hey Mr. Death don't come and take my breath

I need it back so I can tell my girl

We're going to get married and move out west

We've got all the time in the world.

We've got all the time in the world

but how much time does the world have

Tick tock down like a whirl pool swirl

Can you tell us by the watches that our grandads had

Why no you can't, and that's what's sad.
