Wild Winds Of Winter

Here it is March and there's snow on the ground

Spring must have broken, for it's nowhere around

and Saint Patrick's day is coming up soon

it's the only thing green in this month of gloom.

When you're thinking about parks and going to the zoo

it's chilly and cold and there's nothing to do

but stay inside by the electric and gas

while keeping our bodys warm, how long will it last.

Wild winds of winter kicking up a storm

all across the country where nothing is the norm

Thunder snow, lightning and a hurricane

hitting us all at once where nothing is the same.

They say April showers will bring May flowers

Well it's all messed up and in a few hours

it'll be Easter day with candy and such

wishing for summer cause this is to much.

When you're thinking about partying or a drive in movie

it's breezy and freezing, not like it should be

here under a blanket and drinking hot tea

not going out until there's leaves on the trees.
