You're the cat in the hat
You know where it's at
and you will find it
You're not deputy dog
or an old boss hog
you're the bandit.
While you're lying around
they go frisking the town
for a tiger
They're hitting speed bumps
while you're waiting to jump
like a spider.
Well they haven't a clue
that the culprit is you
those silly bears
You can hide in plain site
through the day and night
without a care.
Why you know every sign
you've got a sharp mind
they'll never find you
They think they've got the guy
While you're flying high
on the loose.
You're the cat in the hat
You know where it's at
and you will find it
You're not deputy dog
or an old boss hog
you're the bandit.
