I hope that your well but I really can't tell if you are

Does the pain still rack your brain and set your body on fire

From your head to your toes only you know how you feel

While we sit and watch it come and watch it steal.

Steals your heart and steals your soul

Makes you feel like your old

Before your time, it steals your mind

and it won't let you go.

Go to high places where the wild wind does blow

to see all the sweet faces that you truly love so

Down in the valley where all the spring flowers grow

You've got the get up but you don't have the go.

It's been some time since you've rang my chimes and called me.

You lay in bed but the pain in your head won't let you sleep.

Sleep and dream and sleep in peace

Makes you cry out in the street

Through the night, cause sleep won't come

and it won't let you go.

Go to high places where the wild wind does blow

to see all the sweet faces that you truly love so

Down in the valley where all the spring flowers grow

You've got the get up but you don't have the go.

I hope that your well but I really can't tell if you are

Does the pain still rack your brain and set your body on fire

From your head to your toes only you know how you feel

While we sit and watch it come and watch it steal.

Steals your heart and steals your soul

Makes you feel like your old...
