Love A Poets Bane

Poetry By: stranger in the corner

an acrostic poem about love. Booksie does not like the way I format my poems, so I did the best I could.

~~Love A Poets Bane~~

Longingly I see the great love she has for thee.
Over any obsticle ye shall surmount to be with the one you love.
Verily I say unto you that without love we are as worthless as the sand in the sea.
Easily it comes to another, but never to me.

After all, i had my chance and never knew it, so i blew it.

Perhaps there is that "One" for you, but there is none for me.
One, that great mythical person destined for you who is rumored to exist.
Every time I think she likes me, it turns out that she was just being nice.
Till death do us part is supposed to mean something, but it really is just a fantasy.
Still though most folks do hold onto hope.

But for the glimmer of false hope, the darkness of dispair closes in.
Acrostic poetry this is, but will you go away with a new understanding?
Never in history has love been accurately defined.
End is here, I have nothing more to share.
