Like an old grandfathers clock ticking, the pendulum leisurely swings both ways
Love may have awaken the hunger in man, but life has stolen its praise
When a man gives his heart and soul, he prepares his spirit to fight
Similar to lightning silently striking against the dead of night
His yesterdays will come and go, but time may seem to stand still
And as he search the deepness of his being; his strength becomes his will
He will smile in the face of adversity, for he know it is not his to own
For In his spirit he has always known his heart was not meant to be alone.
