Just missing someone can be painful. This poem is short and sweet, and just tells you how I feel.

As Long As You Are Gone
What use is serenity it cannot help me find you?
What good is a memory if only mimics what was once you?
How can anyone accept a loss without a final goodbye?
How can you replace what is lost in time?
Does the pain diminish or abate?
Does the loss still feel like a fresh wound opened every day?
The wound never closes
The loss is still fresh and open.
The pain still lingers on,
It still feels real as long as you are gone.
