What's In A Name?
by Susan H Fouts
What's in a name?
That just the mention of it
Can cause a flitter
The heart beats a little faster.
Curiousity drives one forth
To see what was written today.
What's in a name, you say?
For yourself a name was made,
A poets heart with skillful pen
To write with beauty deep within
The soul expresses magnificence,
The talent goes way beyond words.
The quarrels and the bickers
Are nothing compared
To respect for a worthy writer.
Worthy of recognition
Worthy of fame.
To this I'll say, what's in a name?
Half a world apart,
But you've a special place in my heart
That prayers go out daily
For you and best wishes,
That angels are watching over you,
Protecting you for God's purpose
Just for you.
What's in a name?
God knows.
