Walking home The moon is drifting in and out of the clouds An old solo can roles along the cracked footpath Beer bottles swarm towards the gutter Trees sway and leaves hit my shoes as I walk I see eyes in the darkness of an alley A raspy cough is all I hear Walking home The clouds drift over the moon once more I push my headphones in and ignore the strange movements and noises of this world.
