A light in our life a beat in our hearts
God gave us a chance, gave us a start
We lost our hope, our strength it waivered
We couldn't find the way back, so he gave us -
Jesus his son who he called his "beloved"
So we could return to him - our hope recovered
Now its up to us to learn all we can
about his promises to free all of man
If we stick to his word and his principles hold
He'll give us our freedom - "a life of gold"
forever we'll roam in his promise land
With the love we all need sustaining our hand
With love in our hearts and prayers in our minds
He'll teach us his lessons and open our eyes....
Amen....
