Dear Foreigner (G. Nissen)

Poetry By: Tanis Joy

It's sad to admit, but whether i want to or not. this is what i think of when i see a certain group come into my place of work.

(don't think less of me, i am German, i love french people, i wish i could live in a Spanish country, i have a history with this particular place... (based on one person, and not the whole country.))

Dear Foreigner

I don't like the way you eat

I don't like the way you act

I don't like the way you smell

I don't like the way you look

I don't like the way you talk

But it's hard to dislike you,

When you look at me like that.
