Trying to guess, what fish might take,
The minnow is swimming, lonely and free,
Then all of a sudden, I'm filled with glee,
For a giant fish is on the end of my line,
This is the first fish of the day, bout dang time,
I get the fish off my big ole hook,
Just enough time, to give it a look,
Its a 17 inch crappie, that's a big fish,
I put it in the tank, filled with bliss,
I bait my hook again, just in time,
For its not too long, fore there's another fish on my line,
This is the best fishing, I've done in days,
I might just find a way to stay.
