This Ancient Dance

Poetry By: Tesseth

A sensual 'dance' of romance, lust?...

And the dance begins again
So gentle and so smooth
This ancient lover's dance
Most all will one day choose

Two bodies meet in darkness
Now supple skin to skin
Face to face, sweet embrace
Breathing each other in

Their soft lips press together
Just an innocent kiss
Stirring strong emotions
Each spirit feeling bliss

Eager fingertips caress
Craving ---needing much more
Hands moving everywhere
No place left unexplored

Powers beyond them both
A chemical romance
Within their tangled souls
This music makes them dance

Spirits weaken to the touch
A melody so sweet
The dance continues on
Until their song's complete.
