Back and forth we go, and then again it's the end.

Tears run down my face, and again I give in.

Drags me to all the old familiar places, and then.

You remind me that you won't break or bend.

Tears my heart apart, and brings me back to the end.

So here I lay in my bed, with these familiar tears again.

Why would we keep pretending, if the conclusion is always the same in the end ?

It would seem that we are both gluttons for punishment.

For neither one of us wants to be the first to back down.

So we stay here, we fight here, to save broken ground.

After all is said and done, I love you still.

And I'm sure you still love me too, though you'll probably never tell.

But the one before this was my final fight.

But the truth still remains, that I'll be here for you forever.

And nothing will change that, I'm here because I want to be.

Not because I like how it feels for you to need me.

And I admit, I need you a little bit just as well.

Well a little bit more then a lot, but please understand your not all that I've got.

So this is my admition that I realized that I do need you.

And although I admit that I need you.
