Red Rose Doll

Poetry By: The Boy of White

Strings of which hold many captive in a never ending dance.

Cold and chilling

There is no feeling,

Time is fine,

But with an edged rhyme,

Beating, pounding

One so sounding

Behind the red velvet twine,

The curtains fall,

They'll be all

But nothing more than a cold autumn fall,

The red curtains raise

One with her head

To hold high in a pose

Gritting so lovingly held with her teeth

A red covered rose,

Dwindling so dandily,

She'll dance with this pose,

All she'll ever do

All she'll ever know.

Till the strings come undone,

The doll will dance.

Until comes the sweet beloved prince,

His sword welded sharp

Pointed straight forth,

Down with the doll

She is free.

On to the floor

The red rose will fall

To be with her hero

That will be all
