I often wonder if you taste sweet
Cause you seem to enjoy the taste of your own tail
slithering vine unable to escape your viper grip
Teeth locked in the eternal struggle
You're a snake
Timeless story, read it to me again
Such an eloquent hiss you spiral it in
The capturing summary, beautiful in the paper plot
I can't escape the spell
Could 'a, would 'a, should 'a
Words only we understand
Analyse, Edit, re-read, pencil, stencil
You are the grandest shape
Speaking sweet words from a forked tongue
Feel the air surrounding yourself
Grey, then black burst into a blinding white
You are the finest predator
Drain my vitality
Drain my patience
Drain my sanctuary
My essence gone
Accepting the end
Enveloping my all, your frozen silence made it possible
The numbing poison
Didn't I ask for this?
A tedious groan escapes from me
I am yours
Flesh becomes muscle, muscle becomes bone
Bone, crushed into chalk
Let the breeze show me mercy in its abandoned course
I never should have never interfered with the primal nature
Another waste
How does your anthology close?
How do you keep a serpent from eating its own tail?
