Good sisters they were,

Roaming the sky together,

The sun and the moon.

The sun was friendly,

Happy, energetic, kind,

Always shining bright.

She gave needed warmth,

Her glow keeping us alive,

we all love the sun.

The moon was quiet,

Not needing our approval,

Less light, more magic.

She did her own thing,

Alone in the silent night,

Active while we sleep.

Taking turns, they flew,

Traveling the sky together,

Loving each other.
