Walk this Path Alone

Poetry By: The Jester of Punishment

This poem was written when I was dating a guy name Riley. He wanted me to open up to him cause I was being cold and distance. Yet I couldnt do it. I wouldnt allow him to see the monster inside which I've kept so many years now. So we broke up. Few months now I look back on it and this poem was born.

There no room for me here to care
numb to every touch I die
you wish for me to open up
are you ready to see the ugliness on the inside
the hate I keep lock up
hollow to the point where emotions dont past
there a fight you wish to battle
that will cause you to lose fast
a lost hope
a shatter glass
my pieces wont be fixed
and so here in death I drift
My reason wont be reviled to someone as you
no body can come to understand the loneliness I walk
the empty I hold hands to
come walk the green mile
and tell me what you think to know
have you even seen yourself get beat
to know that help is no use here in the present of a false god
have you given up hope
to a point where you attempt suicide to certain points
have your mind clouded
with so much darkness
depression lays in the path of your every mind
this road to which you walk come to it's end
and now you lay your violence upon a unforgiving sin
learn that what you wish to know of me is dead
and shall remain forever my haunting alone
