Society's making me snap.
Into little bite size pieces,
And everyone continues to clap,
On my jubilant conformity thesis.
Assimilate as we march into the unknown,
Because we all know you don't want to be alone,
So follow me and take my hand,
Don't be yourself in no man's land.
You won't survive I'll guarantee,
And I'll thrive or your vulnerability,
And when you fall I'll pick you up,
And suck out your life,
And praise your luck.
We'll smile and say we're one,
Together forever is time's pun,
Because it may always be their
But it shall run,
Away from us all,
And that's when you'll fall.
Down into life's lonely pit,
Smitten by praise and
Blinded and dazed,
By the people who have pushed you down,
Are always the same ones who pretend,
Its your own fault your on the ground.
Snapped my spirit,
Into the folds,
And worrisome mental colds,
Falling with you,
Is so easy to do,
But now that I can fly,
You seem to be through.
And now I don't want to leave,
My free will is on a leash,
Dragged around by society's expectations,
When was life plagued with such complications.
