But Now I Am Stronger

Poetry By: TheMonsterInsideMe

While i was "away" i had to learn to stand up for myself and to have confidence in myself.. if i didnt the animals in there would've torn me apart..

But Now
In these four walls you must walk tall.
Under everyone's gaze you must never show weakness.
They are like animals that smell fear and feed on the weak.
When stones are thrown you must throw back.
When asked who threw you must never tell.
If you tell, they will make sure you never tell again.
once I was slouched,
but now I walk tall.
I was once cracked,
but now I am solid.
I too am like an animal,
but I do not feed on the weak.
stones are still thrown,
but I throw harder.
When they ask who threw, I will never tell.
No one will make sure of anything but me.
I was once weak, but now I am strong.
