Ever Had One Of Those Days?

Hot water running down my arms

Steam rising to my face, making me warm

Stood in the shower, I sway on my feet

I've just woken up, I'm still asleep

A warm rain of water turns me lobster red

Whilst my body tries to tell me I should be in bed

I pick up the talc, instead of the soap

Breathe in the dust and begin to choke

I brush my teeth with shampoo

Washing my hair with toothpaste

I guess I'll have to face it

It's gonna be one of those days

I get out of the shower, dry myself down

Then pull on my t-shirt, the wrong way around

I slip on my boots, they're on the wrong feet

I fall down the stairs, look for something to eat

The cupboards are empty

The bread has gone off

The milk has turned sour

It's now eight o'clock

I race to work, and I burst through the door

" What are you doing here? Isn't it your day off? "

I race back home, and go straight back to sleep

The alarm clock wakes me with a steady beep.

Thank God it was only a dream!
