A memory of the seaside

Bare foot on the beach
Hot golden sand soft between my toes
A simple pleasure, makes me feel good
Waves gently lapping the shoreline
A rush of warm blue water trickles over my feet
A crest of foaming salt water bubbles
The sound of rolling waves, the brief chatter of water
Childrens laughter, a dog barks somewhere
A simple pleasure free to all
Hand in hand, was once you and me
The view is endless, like our love was
Though now we are seperate, i feel your spirit
It rides the waves like a ghost on water
A figure clad in black, paddling out to meet the surf
Majestically you ride the blue rolling swells
I watch transfixed by the splender, the beauty
They practice their fine art, fine tune thier skills
The beaches adorned with mighty castles
Frantic digging, build a moat quick!
Finally tide catches up, crumbling them all
A mighty fortress defeated by water
Rolling tides now, lapping the rocks
A crab scuttles from its hiding place
The sun goes down on the edge of the world
Reflextions on the water, like the memories of my mind
Sunblest, deep blue, and swell:)
