IN ME

By: Jessica Tucker

The compassion, to be someone's shoulder to cry on.
It's in me.
The warmth to give a stranger a hug.
It's in me.
The burning desire to give someone love.
It's in me.
The honor of helping someone in need.
It's in me.
The selflessness to change lives.
It's in me.
The strength to help someone move on, after a broken heart.
It's in me.
The smile to brighten someone's day.
It's in me.
The belief that things can always get better.
It's in me.
The act of pure kindness.
It's in me.
The courage to take chances.
It's in me.
The words to change minds.
They're in me.
The power to heal the world.
It's in me.
And these are all in YOU.

I really like the layout/setup/flow of your poem.
The initial insecurity was brillantly expressed then wrapped up with confidence in yourself (if that makes sense). I like it!

Yes that makes sense, thank you. I'm a sea of emotions, and I try to express them. ~JT~
