Tonight I Will See You
By: Jessica Tucker 12:41 PM 9/7/2002
When the moon and the stars come out tonight,
although you're not here,
I will still be with you,
looking at the star I picked for you.
It's the biggest and brightest one,
you can't mistake it with any other,
you are my angel, so I made a place for you up in the heavens,
amongst the billions of beautiful things in the nights sky.
You roam with the Aurora Borealis,
and dance on the many moons,
you frolic in the many galaxies,
and yet I am still with you.
I can look up and see you smiling back at me,
and I smile back, longing for your sweet embrace,
you live in my heart, and I see you in the sky,
you are beautiful to me, and I love you.
When the sun comes up tomorrow,
I will not forget our night,
of gazing at each other,
through the planets' forgiving eyes, and the stars' beautiful lights.
