Run Forever

Poetry By: Tihomir

This is about how we run from everything and never look for safety and we just end up dying.

Run for your life.

Or whatever's left of it.

Is it worth all the pain?

All the adrenaline rushing through you?

It tires you,

It exhausts you,

But still,

You run.

Every day,

Every night,

Even in your sleep.

You cannot stop.

If you do,

You will die.

You run from everything,

From the enemy that chases you,

From the past that is already behind.

You still run,

To the future,

To the safety,

That you have already passed by.

Several opportunities…thrown away,

Because you do not stop.

Death is chasing you to his own self.

You will die either way.

You still run.

You turn the corner,

And there Death is.

You stop.

No longer exhausted,

No longer tired,

No more adrenaline left.

It isn't worth all the pain.

There is nothing left of your life.

You've used all up.

No longer can you…
