You're My First True Friend

Poetry By: Tihomir

This is a poem I wrote to my best friend for her birthday. I wrote with all my heart and even cried a little. She was truely the first person in my life to show me true friendship, and not that friendship where you go behinds someone's back and talk about them.

(Verse I) Of all the people I've known, You're the best example of a friend. Never a promise, have you broke, Nor the truth, did you ever bend(to me, at least) (Chorus) Cause you're my first true friend. You're my answered prayer. When my skin of love faded away, You added another layer. And whatever happens to you, Will hurt me just the more. Cause I couldn't stand to lose yoy, Someone so loving, so pure to the core. Cause you're my first...true friend. (Verse II/ Bridge) You were my friend, when all were against me. You looked through my eyes, when no one else could. In other words, to make that more simple, All my feelings inside, you understood. (Repeat Chorus once or twice)
