It's simply about remembering love.

To see you
I close my eyes.
To when we were
Is where I long to be
I left my heart for you there.
That tarnished haze of a memory
Then i was stone and you, a sculptor.
We found bliss amongst the riots
To young to know love, but
Young enough to believe in it
And when my shaky eyes open
I count seconds as they form hours
Until the masksrade ends
When the mask and shadows vanish
Bringing you life again
