The Strength of a True Warrior

Poetry By: To Me
Poetry

I wrote this when I was going through a trial. There were these girls in school who started this awful rumor about me and it got spread around the entire school. It was really humiliating and I even went on home school because of it. I wrote this poem to express my feelings about the situation.

Spill your rubbish out into the world. Go on, do it. I doubt you'll receive anything in return. For the people out there that spend their life inflicting pain on others, who don't deserve it. Infecting people with their grimy bacteria. Spiting poison into the wounds of good warriors. You will never win. You will never surpass the swiftness of my steel, the impenetrability of my shields, or my unyielding strength. For I already have triumph over you. My steel is kindness, my shield is love, and my strength is forgiveness.
