I sat on the warm sand looking out at the horizon. The sky was orange, red, pink and purple. It looked like an artists pallet filled with beautiful colors. The sun would soon disappear into its watery bed. A bird flew over the turquoise water. The water licked the seashore, creating a peaceful crashing sound. Birds called to one another. Palm trees swayed in a gentle breeze that wafted over the beach, carrying the smell of salt and fish. Then before it disappeared the last of the sun's warm, golden rays danced on my wind blown hair.
