Words come like they are from the heart

To write a poem

Letting the feelings grip the pen

The soul fills with images which it thinks up

From the heart the words come

To heal

Curing them from the start

To let the pained person know

That they are not alone

And they are meant to carry the burden alone

The poet reassures them

With his verse

Lending as though an invisible hand

Mending the heart

Telling them not to despair

They will find a friend in each word of the poem

How does the poet heal and support the person

It is because as if an invisible thread ties the souls of the poet and person

Together and helps the poet to reach out to them

The curing begins from the word
