Heroin my unexpected friend

Poetry By: twistedlady

It's a poem I wrote one of the many times I was in Jail. It's about Heroin something that was a big part of my life for along time.

You snuck into my life an unexpected friend

How was I to know it was the beginning of the end.

I made a home for you deep inside my vains

a sence of sheer perfection slowly driving me insane.

The brown mixed with red a color of sheer delight

a tiny little pin prick my body put up no fight

I got caught up in your power and driving by your haze

now my life with out you is a slowly dying daze

I felt the perfection of your twisted charm

my days alone without you my body feels alarm

You destroyed my life you were never really a friend

this souless lifeless thing is a thing called heroin.
