Kids for a day;

Poetry By: TwoStepz
Poetry

We all want to be kids again, don't we? We want to not have to worry about friends, or relationships, or heartbreak, or algebra... just about who stole the crayon and who has the 'lurgies'... just pure, innocent fun!

Let's go crazy,

Let's blow our minds,

Let's create a memory,

That won't fade in time.

Let's run for years,

And forget our past,

Let's grab each moment,

Hoping it will last.

Then fall head over heels,

Then fall to our knees,

Let's take pictures,

Climb the tallest tree.

Let's hold hands,

And fight the dragons ahead,

Create a fantasy,

From story books read.

Immaturity, security,

Simple, purely,

Full of fun,

Let's be kids for a day.

Just one.
