One of two voices in one's head. A poem about the negitive voices the are imbeded in a persons head. Do they come from what others say to us of from a more evil source? Or both?

Abusive and angry discouragements,

Words with intentionsto tear down,

An inner battle and distrubances,

Building up, boiling,to break medown.

I try to pull and to pick myself up,

Try to convince a broken man to get up,

Ascomments wrapped in pain and hate,

Dig deeper, as deep as they can.

Where do they originate from?

Are they all from my self esteem?

How deep can they penetrate?

Are they from me ora sinful friend?

I fight hard, and harder they pound,

I ignore them, and the louder they sound,

I try to counter, the more they resound,

I try to run, they chase like blood hounds.

Being alive, living, I've heard its been said,

Is a wish, the only wish, the wish of the dead,

How can anyone living or dead, wish to be alive,

With these kinds of voices feeding in your head?
