Pained eyes
Shedding emotions,
Heart is wailing
For the Beloved.
Vague memories
Dancing in mind,
Craving for a face
And scattered pearls of love.
The hushed love
now screams in agony,
And the soul moans
With a burning fire.
And then,
A scream of ecstasy
Escapes through lips,
Heartbeat thins
Relishing the moment,
And seeps into me
A feeling of fulfilment.
A sudden joy
Surpasses all fears,
For I remember now
It's clearer now
That faded face
That will be forever dear.
