If you pick up a stone you drop it
If you pick up a diamond you hold it.
Stones are not diamonds
Everywhere you go, you see stones.
To pick up a stone
You’ve to bend down
To pick up a diamond
You’re to bend down and dig.
A stone is on the ground
But to pick up a diamond, you’re to dig.
Stones are everywhere
But diamonds are hard to dig up.
Everywhere you go you see stones
But to see diamonds, you’re to dig.
There’s nothing romantic about stones,
but there’s something romantic about diamonds.
