Snake (Alliteration)

Poem By: UncommonCold
Poetry

Again, rather self explanatory. I wasn't really fond of this style, but we had to do it in creative writing. View table of contents...

A smiling snake is slithering toward me, concealing her crooked craft behind a friendly wave of greeting.
She keeps on creeping toward me, causing chills and making my skin crawl.
I think to myself, “Trip, please trip. Tear the knees of your jeans. You filthy little ferret, I can’t stand you…” I want to scream.
I wrestle with the urge to run right over her, and make a macabre mess of her preppy, perfect clothes.
A warning hand rests resolutely on my shoulder and I sigh, “All right, I’ll leave the bloody brat alone…”
