Christmas Day :)

Poetry By: VampireCigk
Poetry

It comes every year
To every boy and girl.
And every year
They shout for joy.

Most will tell you
It’s a time of giving.
While the younger ones will tell you
It’s really a time of getting.

It comes every year
To every boy and girl.
And every year
They shout for joy.
Most will tell you
It's a time of giving.
While the younger ones will tell you
It's really a time of getting.
On Christmas Day
They make a beeline for the tree.
In hopes of getting
A lot of presents under the tree.
They anticipate this one day on
The other 364 days a year.
In hopes that Santa will bring them
Plenty of presents that year.
It comes every year
To every boy and girl.
And every year
They shout for joy.
They love the thrill
Of finding all those presents.
Nothing compares to the thrill
Of tearing into all their presents.
The hope of getting
Everything you had asked for.
The shock of finding all of it
Right under the tree.
It's the number one day of the year
To every kid on the planet.
The celebration
Of Christmas Day.
It comes every year
To every boy and girl.
And every year
They shout for joy.
