Does love exist
Just because people say it does?
Does love exist
Just because we are led to believe it does?
Should we truly believe it exist
Because some think they found love.
And if we don’t believe it exist,
Does that mean that we will never find love?
They will tell you
That they are in love.
But it’s what they don’t tell you
That shows they aren’t in love.
They believe they are in love
Because they are happy for a while.
But are they in love,
Even for a little while?
Does love exist
Just because people say it does?
Does love exist
Just because we are led to believe it does?
If it does exist
Then what about those who never find it?
They go on as if it never did exist
All because they couldn’t find it?
They go on with their lives
As if their hearts weren’t broken.
They just alter their lives
To help mend their broken hearts.
They go back to believing
In love.
Or they may never
Believe in love again.
Does love exist
Just because people say it does?
Does love exist
Just because we are led to believe it does?
