My Dearest Brother

Poetry By: VampireCigk
Poetry

My dearest brother,
How I miss you.
I regret the choices of our mother,
Why did she ever do it to you?

I’ll never understand what she did,
She took you away from us.
You were her beloved kid,
Why did she take you from us?

My dearest brother,
How I miss you.
I regret the choices of our mother,
Why did she ever do it to you?
I'll never understand what she did,
She took you away from us.
You were her beloved kid,
Why did she take you from us?
My dearest brother,
We failed you.
If it was not for our mother,
We could have cared for you.
I'll never forget your cry,
On that horrible day.
Piercing the night sky,
All the way to the Oceanic Bay.
My dearest brother,
How I miss you.
I regret the choices of our mother,
Why did she ever do it to you?
She had no right to behave that way,
Taking you form the ones who love you most.
Doing her own son that way,
So now we can't hold you close.
If I was not so young,
I would have died for you.
But I was young,
And thought nothing was wrong with you.
But I was foolish then,
And didn't understand a thing.
If only things hadn't been,
Then I wouldn't have to know a thing.
My dearest brother,
How I miss you.
I regret the choices of our mother,
Why did she ever do it to you?
