It's all I crave.
Solitude
It's all I dare to crave.
It's all I've known
For so many years.
I fear it's all I'll ever know
For many more years.
It's there for me
When no one else is.
It helps heal me
When no one else can.
It shows me
What I aspire to be.
While showing me
How pitiful I really am.
Solitude
It's all I crave.
Solitude
It's all i dare to crave.
I don't long
To be surrounded by others.
And I don't long
To be loved by others.
Yet they still surround me
When I wish to be alone.
And yet they still love me
When I don't want to be loved by anyone.
I seek to be apart
From everyone and everything.
Yet they seek to make me a part
Of everything.
Solitude
