I'm not bound, but broken
I say a lot, though no words are spoken,
The light has gone, darkness remains,
Please don't hurt me, not again.
If I run now, will he find me?
Will I be left, left to be,
I am not happy no, misery scars are left,
An empty shell of who I once was,
You were bored, I was your target,
No excuses, you started it,
with your strong fists,
The lights are flashing now,
Safety is almost here.
I slowly stand up,
"I hate you, I'm not scared of you anymore."
with my last ounce of strength, I throw a knife,
I see it strike you right in the heart,
"A life for a life."
You should have known that from the start.
