February winds woke me up early
What an exquisite day this would be
A day filled with hugs and kisses
A day escorted with cakes and roses
Happy Heart’s Day, Happy Heart’s Day
It’s all I noticed as I walked down the hallway
Smiles were painted on everyone’s face
As the sun stimulates its radiant rays
Checking my phone, I saw your name
Reading your message, I felt the same
It made me miss you more than yesterday
“More than ever” I can certainly say
Though at times, quarrels break us apart
We still turn and fix each other’s heart
Across the distance, I will always love you
Across the miles, I am constantly true
Thoughts of you occupied my atmosphere
While I sat down and wiped a tear
Love songs are all I can hear
As I close my eyes and wish that you were here
