I laze motionless on my bed,
Pondering upon the disputes we’ve said;
It certainly shattered my heart,
Which loves you from the very start.
I hark back to our first date,
The moment you hold tight my hand;
But certainly now I’m too late,
To utter the libretto, “don’t let this end”.
I yearn for the time you strum your guitar,
As you sing and I hum with you;
I solely gaze upon the twinkling star,
Wishing you’ll miss our memories too.
I regret in letting you go,
Sweetheart, it conveyed me sorrow;
At this moment I grasped, you’ve loved me so true,
At this moment I sigh, why I gave up on you.
Baby, I obsequiously say sorry,
For hurting you so desperately;
Now that you turn your back from me,
Dear, it’s shattering me softly.
